TelendosIn 535 AD, Kalymnos experienced a huge earthquake, with tremors that lasted 14 days. As a result, the old capital of Kellaris was lost under the sea and little Telendos became a separate rocky islet, lying off the west coast. Telendos is facing the seaside resorts of Myrties and Massouri.Telendos was joined to Kalymnos, becoming separated from it in the 6th century AD following a series of earthquakes.
NeraNera is a Small island in Kalymnos in the Dodecanese Region of Greece. The island of Nera is situated close to Kalymnos just across from the village of Vlihadia. There are a couple of small beaches that are quite remarkable with their clear blue inviting waters.
